How to create a wifi spot and use it with air cards

wifihotspotCreate a wifi spot to share the Internet connection it’s easy. All you need is an Internet connection, a wireless antenna to send signal, a laptop (dekstop pc) and Connectify software that works with windows 7 and it’s free. Connectify allows you to create a Wi-Fi protected hotspot and use it to connect all devices with their air cards.You can also quickly create connections between only two devices (Ad-hoc mode,your PC and another device).

How to make a wifi spot:
-download Connectify, install, and run it. It will create an icon in the taskbar at the bottom right next to the clock of Windows. A simple left click on this icon will give access to the main screen.
-Fill in the data form to create your wifi spot.
–Wi-Fi Name: Enter the name of the network;
–Passphrase: Enter a password network (minimum 8 characters for a maximum of 63);
–Internet: Select the connection which the computer normally connects to the Internet (your Dsl for example);
–Mode: Select Access Point, WPA2-PSk

Now click on the “start Hotspot” button to start wifi. Ater a few second the status will pass from “off” to “runningmode”. You can now connect other devices to internet wifi spot using air cards. In the “connected clients” section you can find Ip address of all devices connected to the network; Similarly, in “Disconnected Clients “, you will find devices address connected during the past.There is also the possibility to assign an icon for each device, simply selecting the item list and click “Set Icon menu” with your right mouse button.

Connectify doesn’t work with these air cards: Belkin F5D7050UK, Belkin Wireless G MIMO devices (as of version 3.1.2.0), D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G122, Gigabyte GA-WPKG 802.11g, Intel 3945/4965,2200BG (most Intel cards), Mac Book Builtin Broadcom devices, Realtek RTL8187 (like in older 802.11bg USB dongles), Zydas ZD1211 (also in 802.11bg USB dongles).
