Connecting to the Internet: Better DSL, Dialup or Air Cards ?

dsldialup

Well, the choice is obvious. If your area is covered by DSL do not wait a minute, call your phone company and install a DSL line. At&t charges for new subscribers 20USD each month, 40USD after twelve months.

But if your area is not covered by the benefits of DSL the advantages of the connection with an air card compared to the old 56k dialup are several:

  • Great speed, from 1Mb up to 7,2Mb depending on the availability of 3g or HDSP.
  • Benefits of travelling, the signal covered by your air card will follow you everywhere. So no more trips to the coffee bar to find a wifi hotspot.
  • No more problems downloading large files, you can enjoy movies, music and TV streaming with excellent quality, you can also use software such as Skype or Voipcheap for free calls.
  • The telephone line of your home will not be more engaged for as long as you are connected to the Internet. You can stay connected 24hrs a day.

The costs: 80USD each month if you choose At&t and additional 35USD for activation fee. The duration is two years, what you need is just your computer and your super air cards.
