We are exposed every day to many ads from major mobile operators about commercial offers for USB air cards necessary for web browsing. You might think that behind this commercial pressure there is a slow construction market, but it is not.
The most recent statistics available from ABI Research, show that during 2008 have been sold a total of 35 million of these airc ards on a global scale.
What, once upon a time, could be regarded as an expensive accessory for the business men, is becoming now for many users not covered by traditional broadband connections, or simply in search of maximum flexibility of connection, a natural complement to its notebook . As well as USB air cards and pcmcia brodband aircards keys, there is a strong market growth even in modem integrated solutions within the PC, mainly type Netbook.

The strong market growth will be slowed by the effects of international economic crisis, according to figures highlighted by ABI Research. There is expected a decrease in the absolute sense as a positive growth below the initial expectations, as well as parameters to the registered in 2008.
